Holy Resurrection
Newly established Mission Parish in Abbotsford, Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of New Westminster. The Holy Resurrection missions serve as a vital spiritual outlet for the Ukrainian Catholic faithful in both the Fraser Valley and the southern Okanagan. These communities often gather in shared spaces or smaller chapels, focusing on the essential delivery of the sacraments and the Divine Liturgy. They represent the eparchy’s commitment to reaching its flock in expanding suburban and interior regions.
V. Rev. Yuriy Sakvuk
Father Yuriy serves as the Chancellor of the Eparchy and the Parochial Administrator for the Holy Resurrection Mission in Abbotsford. He plays a central role in the eparchial administration, overseeing the legal and record-keeping functions of the Chancery. In addition to his administrative duties, he is dedicated to providing consistent liturgical and pastoral care to the faithful in the Fraser Valley.
